Step 6. Configure your phone to register with your VoIP service provider

There are 3 methods:

• Method 1. Phone deskset UI. Since it’s so much easier to use Method 2 or 3, we will not document this method here.
• Method 2. Phone Web UI. OnSip has excellent documentation on how to do this, for numerous other phones as well as the Polycom IP650.
• Method 3. Configuration (.cfg) files on the boot server. Once you have gone to the trouble of provisioning a boot server, this is the easiest method.
