Step 4. Fix the phone to tell the right time

The IP650 gets its time from an Internet Time Server. There are several of these. I used pool.ntp.org. There are four ways to specify the address of the time server to the phone, and to specify your local time zone. If you set up a boot server, I recommend Method 3 as the simplest.

• Method 1. Use the on-phone user interface.
  
• Method 2. Use phone’s web interface.
  
• Method 3. Use the configuration files on the boot server.
  
• Method 4. Use a DHCP server.
